My name’s Jared Hutchinson but my friends call me Hutch. Growing up in Michigan, I am rooted in Midwest values and work ethic. I pride myself on giving my all to each project I work on. My overall goal in life is to create films, images, and designs that make a difference in people’s lives.

I’m a photographer, cinematographer, and designer with a diverse aesthetic that ranges from dark and dramatic to light and minimalist. I’m highly influenced by cinema and take that into account when I approach each project, this leads me to shoot with a very cinematic/documentary style. This approach allows me to really capture people and products in a true and authentic way.

Week days you can find me hanging out at the Maestro office where I work as a Media Producer helping create kickass content for brands and organizations such as KVCC, Stryker, and Meijer. Then on most weekends I have the pleasure of filming and photographing weddings for some amazing couples through Anchor x Twine. Anchor x Twine is a wedding photography and cinematography collective I founded and operate with Rashelle Whiteharris. On the off chance I’m not working you can find me enjoying a nice craft beer at your local brewery or sending it at the climbing gym.
